Happy Birthday Lady Linda

We send our love to Linda O'Neill, a great Being of Light. In honor of Linda's birthday on April 5, family member Mayita Mendez shares her thoughts and memories of this great soul.

 

Dearest Linda,

Happy Birthday! We want to honor your life on this blessed day as you brought so much love to us for the short time that we knew you in this dimension. Your presence was the nurturing warmth of the mother and the highest wisdom of the greatest masters. You carried within your being the eternal nothingness, always still, forever at peace and one with the Divine. I used to always imagine in my mind the sweetness of your relationship with God, how graciously you served Him in all of his forms, how effortlessly you emanated His presence in all that you did.

Your words were simple, and that is where the power was, so easy to be missed, yet so profoundly did they enter our hearts. I can still hear the sweetness of your voice saying "Just Be Who You Are" or "It's Grand!". So often you shared your experience of relationships with us, giving us gems like "Enjoy the time you have with your partner, and when they are gone, enjoy your time with you." But it wasn't your words that spoke, it was your actions, your never-ending service to your beloved children and husband, and of course to the children of God, all of us. I remember sitting with you one day sharing a story about my father, about the service he was doing for children, and I had tears in my eyes. You sat listening, looking deeply into me and tears came down your face too. Your compassion was so great, you held me so tenderly in your presence and cried with me, for me, for all of us. And the greatest part of all was to watch you laugh, to see your bright smile, to witness your sense of humor, because you were funny and so full of joy too. You are one of the most beautiful beings I have ever seen. Your awesome power was your gentleness. I was very aware that anything I spoke to you would either fall away quickly and swiftly, or gently find a resolution. You were a true warrior of the light, a Goddess of great love and truth. There is so much we did not know, that was meant just for you and your family. The love for your children, how you allowed them to be who they were and honored them as individual and perfect souls. The love with your beautiful husband, a true and Divine partnership.

And my Dear Lady Linda, your presence continues to guide us, to nurture us, to push us forward. Your legacy of service is the very heart of SQ and of this great mission of our beloved teacher Derek. Even for those of us who never met you, we know you, and you know our hearts.

May on this day and every forward we pray that we all may one day embody the Grace, Wisdom, Integrity, Beauty and Joy that you so effortlessly emanated. You are our mother, daughter and sister, our fearless guide, our great teacher and our best friend. Thank You for being in our lives. We miss you.

 June 7-Day Workshop and Astrology - A Powerful Pair

The Astrology of June 6-14, 2010

Everyone should know that the week we're going to spend in Ireland this June contains some rare and significant astrological aspects that promise to help make the weeklong workshop with Derek the most important one we've ever had. Jupiter, planet of higher consciousness and expansion, and Uranus, also known as the Great Awakener, come together on the World Axis. These two huge energies move into Aries and generate a huge beginning for all of humanity just as the workshop begins! This planetary connection can be thought of as the opportunity to Wake up, or the Revelation of Conscious Awakening. A Jupiter Uranus conjunction happens once every 13 or 14 years, but it only happens on the World Axis once in a lifetime. The first degree of Aries is known as World Axis because every year when the Sun reaches this point the Spring Equinox takes place, and the entire world experiences a change of season. It's something we all go through together. When any event takes place on the world axis it has the power to touch the entire planet. This Jupiter Uranus conjunction opens us all to a much higher level of consciousness. We are in the process of remembering who we are, and in that setting in Ireland, with Derek, with so many light bearers gathered together, we can realize so much more of the Truth about our mission...

Also during that week Saturn, the Great Teacher, resumes direct motion after being retrograde since the beginning of the year. Saturn will spend the 6 weeks from, the time of the workshop until mid July, completing his 2 ½ year journey through Virgo. We have all spent the last two years learning the art of personal mastery from Saturn. We can gather all the tools we need during the workshop week to complete and polish this cycle of aligning mind, heart, body and spirit. The ultimate healing is available to anyone who will accept it. It might seem like a no brainer that being with Derek for a week IS ultimate healing made available, but at this time we are more prone to say yes to it, and receive this life-altering healing that Derek, The Great Teacher, offers us. This year all the ingredients are in the right place at the right time for huge transformation.

Applying the Teachings

 Abundance in a Bowl of Rice, Few Vegetables

My husband, Jim, and I have been married for the past twenty-eight, almost twenty-nine years. In all this time we have realized most of our wedding vows... "for better or worse, richer or poorer, in sickness and in health." We have weathered many storms together and experienced great joy as well. We were very young when we got married and were expecting a child on that wedding day. We even pawned our wedding rings to buy formula and diapers for our baby, and it was all good.

We got by on very little for many years and it was only recently that we experienced abundance in the form of money. Yet, we were abundant in many other ways. We had our faith, each other, beautiful children, and extended family and friends who cared. There was always enough, never more or less, just enough and it was all good. I can look at it and see it this way in the Now, or A.D., (After Derek), with the teachings and tools he so graciously gives to us to apply for our happiness.

B.D., (Before Derek), the minor financial glitch we are experiencing now would have thrown us off course, because we wouldn't have seen it, as we do now, as the illusion it is. We lack nothing. I am actually in a state of calm and peace now, watching it like a movie, knowing, thanks to Derek and the teachings, that this too shall pass. Those teachings are all the gold we need, when applied. There is nothing to fear, this is all just for our enlightenment and for that we say, thank you. Nothing is permanent, life changes with every breath we take. We have everything we need, and always have, right inside of us.

So, the other night, as I sat eating my dinner, mushroom risotto with broccoli florets, or bowl of rice, few vegetables, I smiled, said, "thank you, Derek," and it's still all good.
