Updated Expo Guidelines

Creacon Discourses - Connect with Derek Wherever You Are

Exciting news! Derek is now in residence at Creacon Retreat Centre in Wexford, Ireland on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of each month (unless otherwise noted). During these visits, Derek offers heart-filled chats and spontaneous teachings, as well as at least one discourse, More Truth Will Set You Free class, or meditation (although he may offer two or three!). Applying the Teachings - In Our Own Words

As the higher spiritual teachings are generously shared with us by our Teacher, we are called upon not only to hear the teachings, but to apply them in our lives. It is only through applying the teachings that we will shift and move forward. Without application, the teachings themselves are like buds that have not flowered into their full beauty and power. Once the petals of wisdom begin to open through disciplined application, why not then spread the fragrance by sharing our experiences with one another? Not only does the greatest teacher lie within, but we are also each others' greatest teachers. Lessons from Creacon Retreat Centre: What do you do with negative emails? The importance of your energy, personal worth, and the SPAM folder.

During my recent trip to Creacon, I had a conversation with Derek and my fellow students about negative emails and what to do with them. In a discussion with Derek, I realized there were several layers of opportunities a negative email that appears in your inbox brings to you:

First, you get to choose that your time is precious and not to be wasted. You honor your worth and gifts as a being of light. Since light and energy is precious, we need to protect it and ourselves in order to collect it and use it when we are called upon for service.

Therefore, you have two choices with respect to how you can deal with negative emails:

1- If your intuition is that the email is negative or you open it and discover it is negative, you can move the unread email to your spam folder.
Or
2- You can request that the sender take you off their list and invite them to contact you again when they are in a more loving place.

After that, all future emails from that sender go into SPAM until the energy changes.

Before I learned this important lesson about energy at Creacon, I believed that it was important to send love to those who sent me negative emails in their current state, but now I discovered that what I was really doing when I sent love to a person who was in a state of negativity was actually creating a leak in my energy field. All energy, as I learned, is a flow. When someone is projecting negative energy, the best response is no response.

Choosing who to feed and who to support is part of the lessons on this path. I hope this tip helps all navigate with a stronger rudder.
