What are Sacred Symbols?
A symbol is a representative of something more than itself. The symbol is a form of sound or a mantra that resonates on a higher level.
Sacred symbols encompass and convey energy that is often extremely powerful and transformative. Each sacred symbol transmits a particular aspect and vibration of energy, and is appropriate and helpful for different intentions. Some symbols focus on opening the heart center, others transmit healing energy, some contain the energy of an entire healing system, while other symbols help awaken particular energies within us, such as the Divine Feminine.
While each is unique, all genuine sacred symbols hold several shared qualities. All contain and transmit the energy of love, and foster a sense of peace and well-being.
